Dear Credit Card Company.......

Dear Credit Card Company,
So glad to know in these trying times, you still have a sense of humor! I am assuming the tiny little pamphlet, with that minature print job was something important. Hard to tell because I had to wait to read it until I unearthed the only magnifying glass in the entire house. What font was that? Helvetica -5?
Nothing says love like raising the interest rate on the credit cards in the same week when your customer's 401K and other retirement funds have pretty much bit the dust. I guess you're feeling the pinch too, perhaps feeling cash poor?
But don't fret too much. You know we love you in spite of your devilishly naughty behavior. After all, you have to pay your executives their bonuses pretty soon, and we wouldn't want to stiff them or anything.
But just remember, when it comes time to shop around in the future, don't be surprised if we start buying our money somewhere else.
Sincerely,
Lulu and Phoebe

Grrr...I hate credit card companies. They are always doing sneaky tricks like this at exactly the worst possible times. I guess they must have been deregulated a while ago because it seems they can do whatever they want, all in the name of greed. Thanks for this post and letting me rant. I feel much better now.
heh heh
I paid my credit card off after they raised my interest rate to 32%, which is, you know, crazy.
This last week, they sent me an offer for a new card. With a $50,000 limit. hahahahahaha!
And all I have to say about that is ... no.

I kicked 'em to the curb years ago. They can have their damn fees, dues, interest rates, and spring-loaded surprises. I prefer to use cash or a debit card.
