This is a twisted tail tale that takes place in the city of lights one spring day not long ago. Two very noshy Bostons decide that one croissant a day is not enough. They argue in what they think are hushed tones while the human naps nearby. Since the apartment is as big as a matchbox sans matches, whispering is pretty much the same as growling shouting.
The scene begins in their beloved chair. The chair in which they use to sleep, sun, watch French soap operas, and often take afternoon tea.

You gotta ask. You're the cute one. You ask.
Go ahead!!! Ask! Ask!
I'm not deaf! I HEAR you, you big old
butt head. I'm gonna ask. Keep your
shirt on!
Ok already! Yeah, well, she can HEAR us.
Really? I thought we were whispering.
Ask!
Ok, ok. I will. I will!
Oh, hi Momo. Lulu wants to know if
we can have another croissant?
Oops. I guess we weren't whispering.
Sorry Momo. Didn't mean to wake you.
Lulu really wanted me to ask.
Your fault! No. Your fault! No! Yours!
Next time you ask!

I seriously wish I could translate their mumblings. In the forth pic, not viewed well here, Lulu has her eyes shut tight in disgust. That is getting to be quite the practice for her. Seems Phoebe embarrasses her to no end!
Thanks! A little humor never hurts.

If I were a Parisienne pup with a taste for croissants and no opposable thumbs, I'd behave just like Lulu and Phoebe. LOVE the pictures. =o)Such adorable, innocent little faces.... tee hee!
Be glad it was not pain au chocolat. You'd have a whole different set of pictures! Rated for cuteness.
Absolutely hilarious and too, too adorable. Only stopping by for one quick second, but how could I resist a trip to the blog of the cutest Bostonians on the planet.
Poor deprived George. He's never had pastry. But he is rather fond of dates---which I guess makes sense, being Persian and all.

Man this made my day. Journalism, schmounalism! I respect it, I love the people who are good at it, but occasionally it's just flat out fun to see a fun doggy fight vicariously through someone else.
I think my dog would love to have a sister or brother.
